Link my outside bank account to additional Altruist accounts

If you have already linked your bank account(s) to Altruist, but have recently opened new accounts, see below for how to link your bank account(s) to the newly opened accounts.


In the desktop portal, you’ll click 'Transfer funds' at the top right.



Select account for 'Transfer to' field.



In the 'Transfer from' field dropdown, you should see the option to 'Add funding account'



Once you click that option, a new screen will appear titled 'Your funding accounts.' On that screen, select the account you have previously added to Altruist, or add an additional account by clicking 'Add Funding Account.' (this should take you to plaid to link your account)


On mobile, from the dashboard
  1. Tap on the Altruist account you are linking
  2. Tap the three dots at the top right and choose "Manage Funding Accounts"
  3. Tap "Add" in the top right corner

  4. Since you have previously added the account, it should come up as an option. Select the appropriate account and tap "Select" in the top right.


    *If the account does not show up, you will need to add it via plaid.


You can also tap Transfers (bottom tab) > Deposit > Select Account > Add Funding Account.
